This recipe will become a favorite for the entire family. It is moist, and flavorful and can be served on gluten-free buns or without a bun entirely! It’s that good.
I like to serve it bun-less topped with sautéed mushrooms, organic pickles, mustard, and a side of slaw. However, you can use any condiments you prefer. It’s always delicious!

Turkey burgers have an added advantage over ground beef burgers. Turkey burgers are lower in calories and saturated fat and contain higher protein. Increasing your protein intake can offer many benefits such as weight loss, increased muscle, and improved body composition and metabolic health.
HINT: The key is to add the water at the end to the skillet and cover it. This seals in the juices!

Ingredients
2 pounds of ground turkey
¼ cup gluten-free bread crumbs
¼ cup finely diced onion
2 egg whites, lightly beaten
¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions
- Making Patties
- In a large mixing bowl, mix ground turkey, gluten-free bread crumbs, finely chopped onion, egg whites, parsley, minced garlic, salt, and pepper together in a large bowl.
- Form into 4 medium-sized patties. Place patties on wax or parchment paper and refrigerate for 1 hour. This will allow the ingredients to bind making the burger stick together better.
- Cook the patties in a medium skillet over medium heat, turning once. Lower the temperature to "low" and add 1-2 tablespoons of water to the pan. Immediately cover the skillet with a lid and let cook for 2-3 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 180 degrees F (85 degrees C).
